Get ready to be inspired! Every year, the Nevada Yacht Club hosts this Women-in-Sailing event in memory of Nancy Cox, a truly remarkable woman. Nancy wasn't just any sailor – she was passionate, dedicated, and even sailed through her cancer treatments. Talk about strength! Her friends described her as "loved by everyone, trusted by most, cherished by all," and even placed a memorial on Boulder Island so she could "watch over us each and every day as we sail." Join us as we celebrate Nancy's incredible spirit and empower women on the water!"

Must be 13 years of age to participate. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Classroom training will be held rain or shine (wind or no wind). The Nevada Yacht Club Fleet Captain may cancel on-the-water activities if hazardous weather conditions exist. If on-water activities are cancelled due to hazardous weather, the Nevada Yacht Club will attempt to schedule a single make-up day, but a make-up day is not guaranteed. Cancelations will incur a $10 fee per canceled registrant. Cancelations must be received 10 days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund.
