  Join the Most Exciting Racing Action on Lake Mead!

  
  

  This 70-mile round trip multi-day, multi-leg, point-to-point race with an overnight stop over at the Temple Bar Marina is a club favorite. 

  This is a great event for Cruisers to tag along with the racing fleet and join the festivities on Saturday night. Most crews will fire up the BBQ for dinner and camp on their boats. Many crews will book a hotel room at the Temple Bar Resort Marina.

  Overnight docking fees are in additional to the registration fee and are payable to the Temple Bar Marina.

  Registration for all participating boats is required.

  Cup Fleet points count towards the Commodore's Cup.

  We’ll cruise the lake for approximately two-hours then rendezvous at a predetermined location for a raft-up and potluck-style cookout. 

  Planned Schedule

  10:30am - Meet on patio for Skipper's Briefing and boat assignments

  11:00am - Depart marina for cruising

  1:00pm - Rendezvous for raft-up and BBQ

  3:00pm - End of official activities

  Skippers

  Skippers, we need your help in welcoming as many new and current members as possible. In addition to your regular crew, we humbly ask that you volunteer any extra space that you may have on your boat to members hoping to participate in this event. NYC will match Skippers with "non-crew members" through a separate registration type. Thank you in advance for welcoming our members!

  Check your New Member Welcome email for an exclusive registration code that gives you priority access to this event!

  
  

  Current Members

  Want to participate but don't have a sailboat? The Nevada Yacht Club will attempt to match "non-crewmembers" with Skippers who can accommodate extra crew.  Non-crewmembers will be placed on a waitlist. Preference will be given to new NYC members. Confirmation of your spot on a boat will be emailed to you the week of the event. The Nevada Yacht Club will attempt to accommodate all participation requests, however, the number of available non-crewmember spots is based on the number of spots offered by participating skippers.
